When they are ready to publish a book, most of my clients find me through a series of coincidences. Whether they need someone to design and format their print book or are looking for advice about publishing and/or marketing—miraculously (or so it seems), our paths cross. Because of those "coincidences," I've met many wonderful people who have enriched my life with their wisdom, wit, and incredible insights. That's probably the best part of my job.

Many of the authors I meet struggle to achieve the success they desire with their book sales. This puzzles them because they sense the potential of their book. They know it can succeed; they believe in their project wholeheartedly, they put their heart and soul into creating it... but for some reason that is unclear to them, it's as if its success is locked up. It's like getting boots stuck knee deep in mud, and there's no getting out.

I once asked an author what she needed most from me, and her quick response was, "Magic." And I have some of that too--at least in some sense of the word. But mostly, I have put together a collection of practical tools and useful services which can be utilized by any author or would-be author, regardless of where they are in process on the road toward their literary dreams.
